Network Requirements
Stable network connectivity is critical for real-time sync from biometric devices to BioLake.
Recommended setup
- Use LAN (Ethernet) where possible for reliability.
- Ensure device has a static IP or DHCP reservation.
- Confirm DNS and gateway settings so the device can reach the BioLake endpoint.
- Keep time and timezone correct on the device.
Firewall
If your network blocks outbound traffic, allow the device to reach the BioLake communication endpoint (ask your admin for the exact host/ports).
